Since the end of October, the Schoenauen car dealership has been operating a WashTec Takt system with adjoining car preparation in Kottendorfer Straße in Solingen. This site is one of a total of eight Schoenauen dealerships in NRW, but it is only at this site in Kottendorfer Straße that the gantry car wash with vehicle preparation has been available since the end of last year.
The adjacent site of the Schoenauen car dealership had been leased for years until the Managing Director, Mr Schoenauen, decided to open a car wash centre on the site. In the course of this, Schoenauen bought the gantry car wash from the previous owner and thus came to WashTec and stayed, as WashTec offered him everything he envisaged in terms of a high-performance gantry car wash chemical and full service. "Never change a running team" is how Mario Islic explains his boss's decision to work with WashTec and AUWA.
Mario Islic, who is in charge of the Rent department at the dealership, has since been responsible for the new "exterior-interior car wash centre" and is running it very successfully. WashTec and AUWA offered Schoenauen everything from a single source: gantry car wash, washing chemicals and full service. Since then, they have been very satisfied with the support, customer service and quality of the car wash. He can also rely on WashTec's service in the event of minor complications.
High-quality washing results also require high-quality washing chemicals and perfect washing technology. The optimally adjusted car wash system with excellent chemical dosing gives the operator the best washing results with low consumption. Because perfect car washing also means precisely coordinating the use of chemicals in the respective products.
With 120-160 washes per day, they are very successful in the car wash centre and are pleased to see their regular customers again on a frequent basis.
"We are much more than just a car wash centre," Mario Islic explained to us. Customers can not only have their car washed at the "super clean exterior-interior car wash centre", but the tyres are also checked, the windows are checked for stone chips or the TÜV sticker is also inspected. If something is not right, customers are put directly in touch with car repair shops. That's what you call a top all-round service, and it goes down well with customers. "Our focus is on quality," says Mario Islic, explaining why. In addition, the head of the Rent department regularly sends his staff to training sessions so that they know exactly what services are offered, how to be safe in the workplace and how to deal with customers.
Autohaus Schoenauen also backs the topic of sustainability and environmental protection. In addition to the AUWA Green Car Care products, the car dealership decided to equip the entire roof with solar in order to go the extra mile in terms of environmental awareness and energy efficiency.
The car dealership invested 1.5 million euros for the car wash centre and further projects are also already planned.
