5. Upload of images

Description

WashTec offers users the opportunity to upload images to the website for certain marketing campaigns. The images (whereby natural persons and vehicle licence plates are always deleted) are used for the respective purposes of the campaign. Furthermore, your data (surname, first name, contact details) may be collected for the purpose of contacting you (e.g. in the event of queries).

Your data in connection with the upload will be processed on the basis of Art. 6(1) lit. f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in using the image material for marketing purposes. The information you provide will be stored for processing for possible follow-up questions and to clarify possible legal violations.

Recipients of the data are our data processors or, in the event of an offence, the competent authorities. A transfer to a third country is not planned, but these images may also be published on the Internet.

Storage duration

The personal data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the above-mentioned purpose, at the latest after 6 months. If natural persons or vehicle licence plates are visible in the images, they will be retouched.

6. Comment function

Description

WashTec offers users the possibility to leave individual comments on each blog contributions on any blog, that is on the website of the controller. A blog is a portal on a website, usually open to the public, in which one or more people, called bloggers or web bloggers, can post articles or write down thoughts in so-called blog posts. The blog posts can usually be commented on by third parties.

For the comment function in this blog, in addition to your comment, information about the time the comment was created, your e-mail address and, if you are not posting anonymously, the user name you have chosen will be saved. Our comment function stores the IP addresses of users who post comments. As we do not check comments on this website before they are activated, we need this data in order to be able to take action against the author in the event of legal violations such as insults or propaganda.
